Chess Perplex #26. The answer is artlessly, e4.

Chess Puzzle #27. The reply is N-h6, check. The black sovereign is forced to move to f8. White then plays Nxe6 for vanquish.

Chess Puzzle #28. The response is Qxc6. Black is enforced to play bxc6. White then checkmates ebon with B-a6.
