This is the recurring text of the last few days.  This must be about the age that kids’ imaginations truly start to go wild.  I suspect it is a good sign that we are sense of hearing lots of stuff about him being scared of monsters in the potty.  At least his fantasy is working.  ;-) 

I have seen a LOT more simulate play in Aidan late.  Last week his Fisher Price Minute People farmer was milking the cow and combing the sheep’s hair.  So I carried the archetype onto the other farm animals.  We had the agriculturist ride the horse and went up to get eggs from the cock (yes…I know roosters don’t lay eggs, but he is only 2 1/2…cut the boy a rend!).  Then we got to the pig.  I paused and chuckled to myself.  What to mention one by one him about the pig?  So we did half the chronicle…the farmer fed the pig.  He doesn’t strait all the details quite yet! 

He is also showing every in posse sign of potty instruction readiness except lack of dread.  He has had very verbose expressions of dismay about the potty over the last 2 weeks so we are reasonable backing off and letting him terminate.  Last night he came running out of his bedroom weeping and telling us of his bad dream about the monsters in the potty.  He declared, “I scared of the potty.  Monsters in the potty.” 

Awww…needy little man.  Duration for some snuggles on Daddy.  He will keep you unharmed, bub.
