I let slip from the mind the exact day but this week was the yearly of me getting my first Blythe doll 3 years ago
Someone on a scrapbooking plank had posted a link observation “look at these creepy dolls I found on Flickr!” and after one gaze I was hooked. Dozens of dolls have passed through my doors in the last 3 years. I’ve had as many as 20 at a duration. Right now I’m down to nine. I meditate it may be close to a year since I bought my last Blythe? I port’t been photographing them as much as I used to either. But that doesn’t moderate I love them any less! It’s very very firm to resist the urge to buy more.
For the note, here’s the current household (I’ll go clockwise starting on the bottom left of the layout)
Brownish Greene – Aztec Coming Inspired, BL-6, 2002
Pixel Jaggies – fashion by Minklet, Primadolly Ebony, RBL, 2007
Malcolmina Mayflower – All Gold in One, BL-4, 2001
Bella Ranunculus – Sunday Good in the highest degree, BL-7, 2002
Chester Copperpot – Picadilly Dolly, EBL-2, 2002
Ann Veal – Bohemian Beats Again, EBL-10, 2003
and the worn out blue-haired maiden in the middle is Snail, a mohair usage by Minklet – Angelica Eve, RBL, 2007
I also have a Production Punch and custom Margaret Meets Ladybug but they didn’t bring into being the layout because a) it was cold out and my freezing fingers didn’t last lengthy enough to get to them and b) I might sell them anyway as I have fallen out of delight in with them. Ha!
